FOURTH ANNUAL UAW LOCAL 2280 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM |
| We believe that education is one of most powerful tools that children can possess. In an effort to promote further education and arm children with knowledge and skills for future success, we are proud to announce the Fourth Annual UAW Local 2280 Scholarship Program. As we all know, tuition costs are on the rise. We are happy to be able to assist members by softening their financial obligations. The funds to support the Annual Scholarship Program are generated from our yearly Golf Outing. The Scholarship Program is administered by the Local’s Education Committee, Community Services Committee and Local’s Officers. |

Scholarships are available to members’ children, grandchildren or legal dependents. The number of scholarships awarded for higher education will vary from year to year depending on the amount of money in the Scholarship Fund. This year seven (7) worthy recipients will be awarded $500 each. |

Eligibility, scholarship form and details are included in each application. Application packages will be available for pick up ONLY at the Local 2280 offices from Monday, January 25, 2010 to Friday, April 23, 2010. All applications must be postmarked or returned to the Local by Friday, April 23, 2010. |
