SECOND UAW LOCAL 2280 ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM |

We believe that education is one of most powerful tools that children can possess. Therefore, to help further their education and arm them with this vital weapon, while aiding our members and softening their financial obligation, we are proud to announce the Second UAW Local 2280 Annual Scholarship Program. The funds in the scholarship program were generated from our yearly Golf Outing. The scholarship program is being administered by the Local’s Education Committee, Community Services Committee and Local’s Officers. Scholarships are available to members’ children, grandchildren or legal dependents. The number of scholarships awarded for higher education will vary from year to year depending on the amount of money in the Scholarship Fund. This year seven (7) worthy recipients will be awarded $500 each. Eligibility, scholarship form and details are included in each application, and application packages are available for pick up ONLY at the Local 2280 offices. Deadline to file is Friday, May 2, 2008.
